How do I know if my pet has worms?

Cats: A number of intestinal Parasites will produce no visible symptoms in your cat at all – or at least not at first. Other Parasites such as the Tapeworm will usually be visible in your cat’s feces and in the hair or on the skin around his anus.

Other symptoms of worms in cats may include:

• Vomiting
• Persistent dry cough
• Swollen abdomen
• Anemia
• Diarrhea
• Persistent scratching around the anus
• Weight loss
• Eating a great deal without putting on weight
• Breathing problems
• Bad Breath

Dogs: In many cases you may not even know that your dog has worms without having a sample of his feces analyzed. Certain intestinal Parasites such as Tapeworm however are usually clearly visible either clinging to the skin or hair around the dog’s anus or in a fresh feces.

Other symptoms of worms in dogs may include:

• Weight loss
• Gastrointestinal disturbances
• Diarrhea

What are the ingredients of Parasite Dr.?

Artemisia absinthinium: (also called Wormwood) is a very well respected herb in both Eastern and Western Herbal Medicine. It is an excellent digestive tonic, helps to expel worms and has calmative and antibiotic properties.

How do we use Parasite Dr.?

Parasite Dr. comes in convenient capsule form.

Capsules may be swallowed whole by larger dogs. However, most owners find that it is easier and more convenient to open the capsule and mix the contents with wet food or a treat. Cats, especially, hate to have medicine forced down their throats and will happily eat the dried herb when it is mixed with a treat, a little fish or rolled into a butter ball.

Dosage:

(Capsule may be opened and mixed with wet food or swallowed whole depending on preferences)

Cats and small dogs: 1/2 capsule twice daily. Medium dogs: One capsule twice daily. Large dogs: One to two capsules twice daily. Continue for approximately three weeks. Repeat when necessary.

Caution: Not recommended for kittens and puppies under 6 months or very Elderly animals. Avoid during pregnancy and Nursing.
