Post-surgery homeopathy mix
Stumble it!The following is a post-surgery mix I use with all the kitties after a surgery - whether it is after a spay/neuter or as with a recent case - where a tail had to be amputated.
Although I usually try to use 1 remedy at a time (as per classical Homeopathy) this mix has proven its worth over and over again. I typically give a dose as soon as I get the furry patient home and simply add a dose to the Water Bowl thereafter.
This mix was recommended to me by a good friend “Howie” in Canada who is a fantastic homeopath and also practices Heilkunst.
- Arnica 200C - for bruising, damage to tissues, trauma
- Hypericum 200C - for nerve pain
- Nux vomica 200C - for “clearing” medications used at the vet’s
- Staphysagria 200C - to speed healing of tissues
Combine a few pellets in a bottle with non-chlorinated water and succuss 100X. Succuss at least 20X before each new dose.
Howie likes to use high potencies with cats as he says they have a higher energy vibration signature. with dogs, usually he recommends 30C.
