Hi, You should mention that radio iodine treatment is effective for cancer in your latest email page about cancer detection and treatments. Our cat had a tumor and did not have hyper thyroid disease, but the specialist Dr. Michael Broome in Tustin, CA did radio iodine after the tumor was removed. She was cancer free for 2 yrs.

Now at 14 the cancer came back in a small nodule we caught earlier this time so no surgery this time and again another round of radio iodine. This can be an effective treatment for cancer even when not hyper thyroid disease cancer which is not what our cat had, but it is cancer because a bioscopy showed cancer cells again growing.
