1 cup brown rice — cooked

3 tablespoons canola oil

1/2 cup water

Lymphoma, one of the four major types of cancer, is a neoplasm (an abnormal growth that serves no purpose) of the lymph tissue. It is commonly known as lymph cancer and is almost always Malignant. Lymph cancer usually occurs in middle aged dogs and one of the major indications is the prevalence of one or more lumps just under the skin. Physical examination would normally reveal that the peripheral lymph nodes are enlarged and firm.

1 small carrot peeled and grated

1/4 cup peeled and grated zucchini

1/2 cup chopped alfalfa sprouts

1 tsp. finely chopped parsley

1/8 cup chicken stock

1/4 tsp dried or fresh Catnip

Combine veggies in a medium bowl. Add chicken stock and toss. Sprinkle with Catnip and serve at room temperature. Store left overs in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Lung cancer in cats may either be primary or secondary. Primary lung cancer originates in the lung tissue while secondary lung cancer is caused by metastasis from other cancerous sites. Like other Cancers, the early signs of lung cancer are not easily detectible and its prevalence is evident only after a chest X-Ray has been done. 1 (6 ounce) can boneless, skinless salmon

1/4 cup bread crumbs

1/2 cup finely chopped celery

1 egg, beaten

1 envelope unflavored gelatin

1/2 cup water

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Pack into a small fish-shaped mold (or other small mold) and bake for 45 minutes.

Serve at room temperature.

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour

1 1/4 cups grated cheddar cheese

1/4 pound margarine — corn oil

1 Clove Garlic — crushed

1 pinch salt

1/4 cup Milk — or as needed

Grate the cheese into a bowl and let stand until it reaches room temperature. Cream the cheese with the softened margarine, Garlic, salt and flour. Add enough milk to form into a ball.
