A simple sugar, glucose, is what the body needs the most to supply energy to the various body cells. This is provided through a complex process known as metabolism. One of the most important functions that go on in the body is to transfer the body’s main fuel, glucose, from the blood stream to the cells.
For transferring glucose to different cells, the Pancreas in the body secretes insulin that acts in three ways.

You may train your dog to perfection but it is difficult to remove all basic traits of canine nature. Domestication and evolutionary changes have converted a basically aggressive species into lovable and sweet animals. A well trained dog will give you his unconditional love and affection. But an action like this is no guarantee that he will not have an aggressive encounter with you at least once in his lifetime. Dog Biting statistics are a standing testimony to that.

Diabetes in cats is the second most common endocrinal disease after hyperthyroidism. It is a condition in which Blood Sugar Levels are high due to the inability of the Pancreas to produce insulin, the hormone responsible for regulating storage of glycogen in the liver. In another type of Diabetes, the cells become resistant to the effect of insulin leading to a high blodd sugar level in the body.

The liver is a major organ that helps in detoxification of the body. Carcinogenic and toxic compounds consumed by dogs pass through it, which can potentially cause primary liver cancer in dogs. The liver is also a front-runner in destinations for metastatic Tumors in humans as well as dogs. Primary cancer tends to metastasize to other parts of the body quite easily and this can happen before the disease has even been diagnosed.

When you bring a cat home, your responsibility is to take care of the animal. Cat owners, who are busy, normally leave their pets alone at home free to eat whatever they like. By not taking enough care of what their pet eats and not exercising them properly they are actually doing them a disservice.
The liver processes fats, proteins and other nutrients to convert them to the relevant substances that the body requires to function properly. The liver also filters toxins that the cat may have consumed through food or drugs or paint scrapings.

Understanding dog behavior is important before arriving at any conclusions about the reasons behind certain types of behavior. Much as humans feel offended at certain things and resort to Aggression, dogs too respond similarly. Just as certain foods do not suit humans, there are many foods that should not be fed to dogs.
If you continue to feed your dog with a diet that disturbs his system, he is liable to show his irritation in his behavior. Persistent feeding of unsuitable diet ultimately leads to aggressive dog behavior .

Certain factors make it is very difficult to diagnose liver disease in dogs .
- Symptoms of liver disease in dogs are difficult to pin point as they are subtle and vague and often mimic those relating to other diseases.
- Liver cells can continue to perform their dedicated functions despite the liver mass being affected.
- The liver has a great reserve capacity.
- The liver can be affected by other diseases as it supports and is supported by many other organs and systems in the body.
