Note: The recipes below are for people with Ringworm, not pets. To help a pet with Ringworm, learn more about Ring-Ex - made especially for your pet.

Ringworm is not caused by a worm, but it is a type of fungal infection. Ringworm is highly contagious from human to human and even to your pets (you may need to have your pets checked by your veterinary - if they have Ringworm do not use Essential Oils on them as Ringworm in pets should not be treated with Essential Oils - most pets do not have the ability remove Essential Oils from their body - their livers cannot remove them. Your pets will need to be treated by the veterinarian) .

Iguanas are probably the most popular lizard kept as a pet today. Many pet stores tell people that they are very easy to care for, but this isn’t true. They actually have very strict care requirements. They also can grow to be extremely large!

Many get baby iguanas not realizing how large they get. They aren’t one of these animals that just grow as large as their tank. When they get bigger, they will need a very large cage, or their own room.

Protect Your Dog’s Feet This Winter

Posted: Sunday, October 8th, 2006 @ 9:44 am in Dogs & Puppies | No Comments »

Sand and salt may help prevent our falls on slippery sidewalks, but they can be harsh on a dog’s unprotected feet.

When your dog goes outside this winter, he should wear paw protectors of good quality such as the Muttluks brand. All the chain pet stores sell them or comparable brands.

If you do let him outside without boots, or if he won’t tolerate wearing them, be sure to clean his feet as soon as he’s ready to come back inside.
