Buy dog Toys like you are buying Toys for your kids – always put safety first. Dog Toys need not necessarily be expensive, nor should they be cute. Dogs do not care how expensive or how cute a toy is.

What they need is something safe, interesting and durable. Dogs basically carry around their Toys to areas they feel comfortable playing in. They Bite and chew these Toys, and very squeaky toys tend to scare them off. If you are to purchase a dog toy, just make sure that it is practical, safe and entertaining for your pet.

A healthy ear cleaning program should begin with regular cleaning with cotton balls and cotton swabs. Remember that cats and dogs have an L shaped ear canal so you will not hurt the ear drum.

To clean your pet’s ear, you can moisten the ear with green Tea or use an acidic ear cleanser that does not contain alcohol. There are many natural herbal ear cleaners and wash on the market.

What is Ringworm?

Ringworm is a contagious Skin Condition occurring commonly in both cats and dogs and is actually caused, not by a worm, but by a fungus. Ringworm may cause various lesions on the skin and these are not always in the shape of a ring. You may notice your pet scratching at areas that look scaly and inflamed and, with time, the hair in these patches may be lost.

The food debate

Cat foods have been used by Ferret owners for many years, but there’s a fair bit of debate about which food is best for ferrets, whether high-quality cat/kitten foods are good enough, and so on. The usual conclusion is that while foods designed for cats probably aren’t the best, many of the foods with ferret pictures on the bags weren’t designed for ferrets either — they were designed for mink or cats and maybe modified slightly, and priced twice as high.
